The competition aims to select the best conceptual architectural design for the Police Station and Protection and Rescue Center, including garage facilities, with the following components: Police Directorate with the Security Department for Tivat Municipality and the Civil Status and Identification Office for Tivat Municipality, as well as the Protection and Rescue Service, with a center for housing, operations, and continuous training of the fire brigade. The location is on UP 148, covering 2,733.00 m², comprising cadastral plot no. 670/1 KO Tivat and part of cadastral plot no. 670/3 KO Tivat within the Detailed Urban Plan “Mažina,” Tivat Municipality (Official Gazette of Montenegro, no. 15/15).
An innovative approach to spatial and architectural design solutions is expected, including material selection, all in accordance with the facility's function.
Competition Deadlines:
- The competition opens on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
- The deadline for submitting works is 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 21, 2024.
- The competition results will be announced by Friday, December 27, 2024.
Upon the jury's decision and preparation of the final jury report, the competition organizer will publish the results on the official website of Tivat Municipality: www.opstinativat.me

Eligibility:
All legal and natural persons meeting the conditions defined by the Competition Announcement and the Terms of the Competition are eligible to participate. Participants must have residence or headquarters in Montenegro, with at least one member of the competition work (individual or team leader) being a licensed architect. The team leader may involve professionals from other fields to enhance the competition solution (it is recommended that the team includes a graduate landscape architect).

No registration is required; participation in the competition is free.
Deadline for Questions:
Participants may submit questions related to the competition until Friday, November 1, 2024. Answers to all submitted questions will be published on the organizer’s website by Friday, November 8, 2024.
