The Municipality of Tivat, Office of the Chief Urban Architect, announced a competition for the conceptual architectural design of a new administrative building – Police Station and Rescue and Protection Center with garage facilities.
Subject of the competition:
The aim of the competition is to select the best conceptual architectural design for the Police Station and Rescue and Protection Center with garage facilities, including the following components:
- Police Administration with the Security Department for the Municipality of Tivat and a Civil Registry and ID Branch for the Municipality of Tivat.
- Rescue and Protection Service with a center for the accommodation, operation, and continuous training of the fire brigade.
The facilities will be located on UP 148, with a total area of 2,733.00m², consisting of cadastral parcel no. 670/1 KO Tivat and part of cadastral parcel no. 670/3 KO Tivat, within the Detailed Urban Plan "Mažina," Municipality of Tivat ("Official Gazette of Montenegro," no. 15/15).
The competition encourages an innovative approach to spatial and architectural design, as well as the choice of materials, all in line with the purpose of the facility.

The deadline for submission of competition entries was Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM (local time in Montenegro).
Number of entries received:
The national competition for the conceptual architectural design of the new administrative building – Police Station and Rescue and Protection Center with garage facilities received 10 entries that met the competition criteria and 2 entries that did not meet the criteria.
