The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property has issued a Decision to announce the National Competition for the Conceptual Architectural Design of the Base Station for the needs of the ski center "Hajla and Štedim."
The competition task has been prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the jury members. The subject of the competition is the creation of a conceptual architectural design for the base station of the ski center "Hajla and Štedim," located within the scope of the Local Study of the Hajla and Štedim location ("Official Gazette of Montenegro – municipal regulations," no. 22/18), Municipality of Rožaje.
The competition entries are expected to, considering the existing ambient values of the immediate and wider location, offer solutions characterized by uniqueness in architectural design and an optimal functional solution for the planned program content. An innovative approach to spatial and architectural design, as well as the use of materials, is expected, all in line with the purpose of the facility.
Deadlines:
- The competition is open from Friday, November 29, 2024.
- The deadline for submitting entries is 1:00 PM (local time in Montenegro) on Friday, February 14, 2025.
- The results of the competition will be announced on Friday, February 28, 2025.
All participants may submit questions regarding the competition until Sunday, December 15, 2024, after which all received questions and answers will be published on the website www.arhitecturalcompetitions.me by Friday, December 20, 2024.

The competition organizer will publish the competition results on the official competition website: www.architecturalcompetitions.me, following the jury's decision and the preparation of the Jury Report.

- 1st Prize - €13,500.00
- 2nd Prize - €6,500.00
- 3rd Prize - €3,000.00
- One Buyout - €1,000.00
Eligibility:
The competition is open to individuals who reside or are based in Montenegro, provided that at least one of the authors of the competition entry (individual or team leader) is a licensed architect. The team leader may engage professionals from other disciplines to enhance the competition solution.
Persons directly involved in preparing the competition task and implementing the specific competition; their close relatives; persons employed by the competition organizer; and persons whose employment at the organizer ended within two years of the competition's announcement, as well as persons closely related to or employed with jury members, are not eligible to participate.
Registration:
Registration is not required; participation in the competition is free of charge.
